Mrs. Haywood was born November 8, 1918, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Robert and Anna Conn Brewster. Her husband, Chester Haywood died in 1982.
She was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.
Surviving are a son, Woodrow Haywood of Troy, two daughters, Mary Ann Archambault of Grasonville, Maryland, and Burlene Miller of Marion, Indiana, four brothers, John Brewster of West Milton, Ohio, Willard Brewster of Crestline, Ohio, Morton Brewster and Norton Brewster, both of Olive Hill, five sisters, Geneva Cox of Niles, Ohio, Charlene Horton of Morehead, Elizabeth Fultz of Marion, Virginia Tackett and Ella Louise Gee, both of Olive Hill; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 30, 1992, at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill by the Rev. James N. Burkkart. Burial was in the Haywood Family Cemetery.
