Bonnie E. Frizzell, 87, of Grants Pass died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at her home.Family services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to Asante Hospice, 2960 Doctors Park Drive, Medford, OR 97504.Frizzell was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Omaha, Ark., to John and Catherine Barker. She was raised in Arkansas before moving to California. In 1941, in California, she married George Lynn Cheney, who died in 1960. They moved to Grants Pass in 1947.In 1980, in Sunny Valley, she married Jacob Frizzell, who died in 2000.She was a member of the Eagles Lodge since 1968. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Seven Feathers, and cooking and baking for her family, especially pies. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Swallow of Sunny Valley; a son, Lynn Cheney of Grants Pass; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
