Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E.Dickins, 51, former Decatur resident, who died at 2:30 pm Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ellen Maltby, RR 4 Jacksonville, will be held in the Moran & Son chapel with burial in Fairlawn cemetery.
Born Jan. 31, 1888 in Terre Haute, Ind.,she married July 5, 1907 in Vandalia to Oliver Dickins. A resident of Decatur from 1925 until last Nov. she made her home at 971 W. Marietta street.
She leaves besides her husband in Jacksonville, three daughters, Mrs. Maltby, Mrs. Loraine Hopkins, Macon and Mrs.Doris Heetor, Long Creek, three brothers, Herbert and Dan Frakes, of Park Ridge and Edward Frankes, Vandalia and three sisters, Mrs. Iva Mast, Vandalia,Mrs. Nellie Workman, t. Elmo and Mrs.Mabel Sidwell, Monticello.
