A. H. Bean, Portland, Dies Here
Funeral services for Adrian "Jack" Bean, 70, Portland, Ore., who died Tuesday in a local hospital, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Croxford & Sons Mortuary and at St. Ann's Cathedral at 9:15.
Bean, who became ill while visiting his sister, Mayme Bean, had been a patient at the hospital nearly two months.
He was born in Concordia, Kansas, April 14, 1897, and came to Montana as a young man, living first in the Landusky area and later near Big Timber, before moving to Portland. He was a member of both Elks and Eagles.
In addition to his sister, survivors are his widow, Hazel, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Lee, both of Portland; a stepson, Gene Powers, Phoenix, Ariz., and nephews and nieces in Canada and New York.
