WHEELER - James R. Mason, 74, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. He was retired from Mason Painting and Decorating. He attended the Wheeler Church of God.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dean Speed and Bro. Jim Mooney officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Izzarelli and husband, Archie, of Wheeler; four grandchildren, Tony Izzarelli and wife, Christine, Amanda Wendzel and husband, Anthony, David Mason and wife, Amanda, and Michael Izzarelli and wife, Gina; four grandchildren; four special friends, R.C. Stennett, Smiley Ford, Bobby Goff and Jane Shook.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Davis Mason; two sons, Danny B. and James Wade Mason; four sisters, Willia Mason Gill, and Ann, Faye and Kay Mason; and two brothers, W.C. and Ray Mason.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday.
