BLOOMINGTON Dorothy Pearl Eads, 90, Bloomington, died Wednesday at her home. She was the daughter of Joe and Dessie (Hawkins) Sipes. She married Gilbert Eads and he died May 7, 1984. She was of Pentecostal faith. Surviving are three sons: Robert Eads of Smithville and Ancil and Gilbert H. Eads, both of Bloomington; two daughters: Violet Masters and Betty Thomas, both of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Albert, Clifford, Ezra, Kenny and Jasper Sipes; two sisters: Mabel Sipes and Edith Hawkins; and one grandson, Robert Daniel Eads. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Heltonville, with the Rev. Dewey Axsom officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday.
