Marley, Cecil E., age 83, retired Gas Service Company of Wichita, machine worker, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011. Vistitation 1-8 Sunday with family present 5-7pm at Culbertson Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service 10am Monday, Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur. Cecil was born July 30, 1927 in Ft. Smith, AR to Frank and Iola Marley. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, landing craft driver and member of the Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; sister, Charlotte Sommerhowser. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Jean; children, Steven (Janet) Marley, Cheryl (Stephen) Knoblauch and Cindy (Roy) Elliott; 8 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; siblings, Bernice Wilder, Nada (Roland) Crawford, Barbara (Vernon) Rainwater, Richard (Allyson) Davis and Glenda (Jasper) Syrock; numerous nieces and nephews.
