Final Rites Sunday For Mrs. F.P. Gilley
Mrs. F.P. Gilley, 94, of Whitney, died at 9:35 p.m. Friday in Dallas.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Capel, Hillsboro, with Rev. W.L. Walters pastor of the First Baptist Church in Whitney officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mrs. Gilley was born near Lake Charles, La. She came to Texas 68 years ago, locating near Whitney. She moved to Dallas six years ago.
Among her survivors are three daughters, Mrs. J.E. Frank of Dallas, Mrs. A.C. Lowery of Cleburne and Mrs. C.F. Glass of El Paso; two brothers, Pete Gimneck and Dan Gimneck, both of DeQuency, La; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
