Kattya was the first born of 10 children to Mary And Henry Beitzel on April 6, 1864 near Bittinger, Md.
She was age 6 years, 2 months, 28 days when she died during a Scarlet Fever Epidemic July 4, 1870.
There is an obelisk marking her grave in the St Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Accident, MD. Her name and that of two younger brothers who died in 1879 are on the obelisk.
