Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Crisp, who died in 1977; two brothers, Robert Bruce Carringer of Brasstown, NC and Jack Carringer of Ellijay, and one sister, Doris Carringer Byers, of Brasstown, NC.
Ada is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Kay Crisp Deaton and Linda Faye Crisp Brendle; four brothers, Thomas Neal Carringer of Brasstown, NC, Edgar and T.C. Carringer, both of Ellijay, and Ted Brownlow Carringer of Indiana; one sister, Jean Carringer Shelton of Ellijay.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Townson-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. In our Carringer family tree, Ada is my paternal aunt
I will always remember her quick wit, her presence at Dad's 70th birthday party and Dad saying jokingly that he had her there so someone was older than he was, and her complete lack of interest in learning how to drive.

Gravesite Details
Aunt Ada was cremated. Her ashes were given to her daughters and they may or may not have buried them next to the grave of their father, Archie Crisp.
