Her father was Washington Madan 1815-1879 Civil War veteran of the 40th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment Company F buried in Highland cemetery South Weymouth, MA.

Her great grandfather was John Madan (spelled in old records as Madden, Maddin, Madin, Madan etc.) was a Sgt in the Revolutionary War.

Her husband Henry Lyman Bunker buried beside her is a Civil War veteran enlisted in Company F. 12th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment on 5 July 1861 and served 3 years before mustering out.

Her brother Elihu Madan served in the Civil war with G company 1st Massachusetts Infantry Regiment.

She is buried in a space owned by W. Madan (not sure which one) where 10 spots are owned by the family) Only three headstones are present. But Massachusetts town records will reveal that her other brothers are buried in Holbrook. Isaac Madan, Washington Madan jr. and Lorenzo Madan. They are likely buried in that family plot with no headstones.
