Mr. Bly was born in Strasbourg, Va., Nov. 8, 1873. He came to Montana in 1906, settling first in the Gallatin valley where he operated a farm until 1914, when he moved to a ranch on Bridger Creek, about 18 miles east of Big Timber.
He is survived by his widow, who now lives at Manhattan; two sons, Bluferd, of this city, and Luther, who is in the navy at Pearl Harbor; a daughter, Mrs. D. G. Davis of Kirkland, Wash., and a brother and sister in Ohio.
