Gordon "Skip" Glaspell, 68, Fargo, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his home in Fargo.

Gordon was born December 20, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Bernard Gordon and Orla (Ringuette) Glaspell. He attended Jamestown High School graduating in 1961. Skip was involved in football, track and wrestling. He worked on the family farm for many years. Skip had various jobs in Jamestown before moving to Fargo in 1999 and retiring. He lived at Pioneer Manor in Fargo until his passing.

Skip enjoyed music, playing guitar, painting, watching sports on TV, taking walks and reading.

Skip is survived by three siblings; twin sister, Patricia Anvik, West Fargo, ND; Rosemary Glaspell (Ed Berdahl), Horace, ND, and David B. (Elizabeth) Glaspell, Bismarck, ND; nieces and nephews, Toby Anvik, Fargo, ND, Cindy (Seth) Manikowski, Horace, ND, Tanya (Tim) Fischer, Maple Grove, MN and Ryan (Lindsey) Glaspell, Fargo, ND; and grand niece & nephew, London & Sloan Fischer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Tyler Glaspell.

Funeral Mass: 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Basilica of St. James with Father Joe Barrett presiding.

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Vigil: 4:30 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota
