NEPHI, Utah--Victor LeGrande Collard, age 81, passed away August 17, 1994 in Payson, Utah as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born June 15, 1913 in Fountain Green, Utah to James Edward and Ellen Chapman Collard.
He married Merlene Christensen December 13, 1936 in Nephi, Utah.
Most of his life was spent farming in Fountain Green and Mills, Utah. He was also well known as an employee of the rubber plant in Nephi. The greatest pleasure he got out of life was fishing, hunting, and being with his family. We will miss you, Dad!
Survived by his wife of Nephi; one son and four daughters: James Dean Collard; Mrs. David (Kathleen) Johnson; Mrs. Chad (Nancy) Kirkpatrick; Mrs. Don (Marsha) Hone; Ms. Ina Jean Crisma; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 1994 in the Nephi 2nd Ward, 222 So. 100 East. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
