Death List
Payne
Died at Mt. Pleasant, Thursday, April 2, Freda May, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Payne, aged 1 year 6 months and 27 days. Interment in Penfield Cemetery, Rev's Ebner and Kelley and Director Joyce in charge.
Little Freda was a very bright, promising child and was almost idolized by her parents and grown up brothers and sisters.
Alas, how fair that faded flower
That bloomed and cheered our hearts.
Fair fleeting comforts of an hour,
How soon we were called to part.
Oh how we miss thee precious darling.
How we miss you everywhere.
But when in prayer we look toward Heaven
We know, yes sure, that thou art there.
