Little Boy Dies
Matthew James Shaffer,the four month old son of Jim and Barb Shaffer of Ogallala, died Apr 20,1990 at the Ogallala hospital. He was born Dec. 19,1989. Survivors include his parents.two brothers Jamey 14 and Nick 8;grandparents Jack Brogan of Keystone,James Shaffer of Ogallala and Illa Warner of Imperial; great grandmother, Lillian Cochran of Imperial; and aunts and uncles and cousins. Mass of the Angels was recited Monday at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala. Burial was in the Ogallala Cemetery. Matthew was the great grandson of the late Nona and Carroll Shaffer of Moorefield.
