Janice Lynn Stanfield Bailey, of Cottageville, wife of Dennis Gerald Bailey, departed this life on the morning of March 17, 2011, after an extended illness.

Born in Walterboro May 20, 1953, she was the daughter of William L. Stanfield and the late Florene Brickle Stanfield.

Mrs. Bailey was a former sales associate with Allied Department Store and was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Cottageville. However, she will be best remembered as a loving and devoted wife and homemaker.

In addition to her husband of Cottageville and her father of Walterboro, she is survived by a sister, Louise Williams and husband Myron of Cottageville; brother, Billy Stanfield and wife Madora of Saluda; and two aunts, Pat Stanfield of Walterboro and Carolyn Breland of Ruffin.

Funeral services will be held March 19, 2011 at 2:00 in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, with burial following in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.
