Ralph Caleb Monroe, 63, 2021 4th Av., died in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital at 10:30 a.m. yesterday.
He was born in Wirt County May 16, 1901, the son of the late William Edwin and Fannie Koch Monroe. He was an employed at the American Viscose plant for the past 33 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs Susan White of Parkersburg; three sons, all of Parkersburg, Ralph Clayton, Clifford Paul, and Ronald Eugene Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Dora Newell, Montclair, W.Va., Mrs. Inez Knotts, Huntington, Mrs. Bethel Bibbee, Parkersburg, and Mrs. Violet Flesher, Friendly, W.Va.; one brother, William, Youngstown, O.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Flossie May Rose Monroe, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at Leavitt funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with burial to be in Evergreen Cemetary.
