Clarence Samuel Muma was the son of Harold and Helen Muma.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1953 and worked at the Naval Receiving Station in Washington, D.C. He was discharged from the service, married his wife Carol and moved to Penryn in 1957.
The couple later moved to Stockton where they lived for 40 years before moving to Valley Springs in 1993.
He retired from Acme Truck Parts and Equipment in Stockton in 1999. He also worked for Moore Tractor Division as a Parts Manager and the General Equipment Co., both in Stockton.
He was a member of the Valley Springs Lions Club and was an avid bowler in Stockton and Jackson for many years.
Mr. Muma is survived by his children, Timothy and Daniel Muma, both of Stockton, Jeanette Lay, of Valley Springs, Lorie Muma, of Sacramento, and Elizabeth Dias, of Fremont; siblings, Harold Muma, of North Carolina, and Chuck Muma and Gloria Williams, both of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Muma; parents, Harold and Helen Muma; mother-in-law, Lori Bush; and sister, Yvonne.
