"Beverley S. (Wynn) Quick, 83, of Creswell, Oregon, formerly of Niles, Michigan, died Sunday, June 26, 2005, in Creswell of congestive heart failure.

She was born July 2, 1921, in Hillery, Vermilion County, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel Smith WYNN and Ethel May STANFIELD. She married Elmer QUICK on September 14, 1939, in Illinois. They divorced in 1950.

Beverley attended grade school in Collison, Vermilion County, Illinois. She worked as a nurse's aide at Berrien General Hospital in Berrien County, Michigan. She enjoyed crocheting, watching Western shows on television, and her poodles.

Survivors include daughters Frances M. Gay of Alabama and Barbara J. Pettis of Oregon, and Ronald M. of Wisconsin and Donald E. of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Vera Lappin, Grace Graves and Eva Abbott; brothers, Clifford, Clyde, Earl and William; a son, Clark Lee; and three granddaughters." - Commercial News, Danville, Illinois, published August 24, 2005
