" Charles S. Hogarth
Funeral services for Charles S. Hogarth, 71, husband of the late Marie P. Studholme Hogarth, of 25 E. Woodland Ave. Penndel, formerly of Bensalem Township, who died Nov. 11 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, Fla. were held Wednesday from the Faust Funeral Home, Hulmesville. Rev. D Guy Carrigan Jr., pastor of the Neshaminy Methodist Church, Hulmeville officiated.
Interment was in Beechwood Cemetery, Hulmeville, Military honors were conducted by the Jesse E. Soby Post 148, American Legion, Langhorne, of which he was a member.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr Hogarth was the son of the late John C. and Anna Fahrley Hogarth, An army veteran of World War I, he was a custodian of Rohm and Haas, Bristol, prior to his retirement in 1961. He was stricken while visiting his brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs Thomas Hall of Jay, Fla.
Surviving besides Mrs. Hall are another sister, Mrs Calvin F. Tobias of Penndel with whom he resided; and three brothers, Granville M. Hogarth of Philadelphia; Burton Hogarth of Cornwells Heights, and Winfield E. Hogarth of Bristol."
