Carl Edward Whitlatch, 41, of 1306 1/2 Staunton Av., died Friday in Camden - Clark Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Born June 6, 1921, in Wood county, he was a son of the late Allison and Ethel Whitlatch.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sue Ann Whitlatch; two children, Rhonda Sue and Carl Edward Whitlatch at home; a brother, William D. Whitlatch, Parkersburg; and a sister, Mrs. Thelma Tyree, Culloden, W.Va.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Shaver & Co. funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetary.
