He was born on 22 January 1942 in Frederick, a son of Alfred Healvey LaBrush Sr. and Ella Catherine Staub LaBrush.
Al had attended Frederick High School. He was a model airplane enthusiast and peach-pit carver and enjoyed camping.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul and wife Dottie of Boonsboro and Clyde and wife Connie of Sabillasville, one sister, Barbara Shankle and husband, David of Frederick, brother-in-law, Richard Miller, Frederick, step-daughter, Cristy Roberts and husband, Charles, two step-granddaughters, Heather and Brianna Roberts of Jefferson and numerous other friends and relatives. Al will be fondly remembered by Daniel Keller.
