George E. Clough, aged 72 years, died at his home in Fremont, Sunday after a lingering illness with heart trouble.
He was born in Ingham township, Oct 3, 1846, He has been a resident of Fremont for 38 years, Mr. Clough was married Apr. 10, 1873, to Florence Irish at Mason where they resided for about 7 years before coming to Fremont.
He leaves besides his wife, two sons and one daughter, Arthur of Ypsilanti, Earnest, and Mrs. June Badgero of Midland.
Deceased has been a life long member of the Methodist church.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday at his home in Fremont at one o'clock.
Rev. Mullen and Rev.W. Whaley officiated. Interment in Fremont cemetery.
Cause of death: Valvular Disease of the heart.
Parents: Amassa Clough and Susan Field.
