Peggy Ann Swann, age 50, of Green Castle, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Born March 21, 1954 in Quincy, Il., she was the daughter of Herbert Thomas Cook, Sr. and Zelma (Stewart) Cook. She was married to Frank Curtis and later to Alan Swann, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her parents of Gifford, Mo.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Isaiah Esau and Reta Curtis of Atlanta, Mo. and James Anthony (Tony) and Whitney Cook of LaPlata, Mo., one daughter and son-in-law, Tuesday Dawn and Matt Brokaw of Osceola, Ia., six brothers, Tom Cook, John Cook and his wife Barb, Kenny Cook, David Cook, Danny Cook and his wife, Kathy, and Troy Cook and his wife, Angie, all of Gifford, Mo.; five sisters, Patty Purvis and her husband, Terry, of Kellogg, Ia., Fran Tipton and her husband, Larry of Elmer, Mo., Debbie Broadus and husband, Randy of Gifford, Mo., Lori Phillips and her friend, Chris Ross of Bevier, Mo., and Lisa Shultz and her husband, Donald of Gifford, Mo.; two grandchildren, Weston Brokaw and Harley Cook; one special friend, Cecil Carlyle of Green Castle, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Peggy received her education in Ewing, Mo. She enjoyed writing poetry, singing and collecting angels.
Burial will be in the Canaday Cemetery, west of LaPlata, Mo. Pallbearers will be her brothers.
Gone from us way too young and dearly missed by her family.
