Miss Busey's Sister Buried At Wetumka
Mrs. Hattie Bement, 68, sister of Miss Ethel Busey of Fayetteville and a former resident of Springdale, died at Wetumka, Okla., and was buried there Monday afternoon following services from the Wetumka Baptist church.
Mrs. Bement leaves several sisters and brothers, seven daughters and five sons. Her daughter, Mrs. Stewart Creekmore, formerly lived in Springdale and a daughter, Mrs. Will Franklin and a son, Allen Bement, live at Lowell, north of Springdale. Mr. Bement died five years ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Watkins and Mrs. Watkins' mother, Mrs. W.W. Jackson of Springdale and Miss Busey were among those who attended the funeral.
