ORVILLE BLEW
---Orville Blew, age 64, of Cottage Hills, Illinois, former resident of La Plata, Missouri died Tuesday morning, (February 9, 1993) at the Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois.
---Born January 15, 1929, in Marceline, Missouri, he was the son of Linville and Eulah (Still) Blew. On October 17, 1953, in Rome, Illinois, he married Nylene Grant, who survives.
---Also surviving are one son, one daughter, one grandchild and two sisters.
---He was preceded in death by one son, Randall Blew, two grandchildren; two sisters; and his parents.
---Mr. Blew was a veteran of the Korean War and an operator for the Amoco Pipeline Company for forty-two years.
---Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, (February 11, 1993) at the First Baptist church in Betalto, Illinois.
---Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (February 12, 1993) in the La Plata Cemetery, La Plata, Missouri.
