5 MORE ADDED TO DEATH LIST
Mrs. Helen Kirbride, 315 Locust street, Laguna Beach, Calif., died in a local hospital last night of injuries received when the automobile in which she and her husband were driving to Williams crashed head-on into a parked truck on U.S. Highway 89, 18 miles north of here, Christmas Eve.
State Highway Patrolman Ronald L. Wilson reported that Mr. Kirkbride was driving the automobile.
Mr. and Mrs. Kirkbride were en-route to Williams to spend Christmas with Mrs. Kirkbride's brother, J.C. Carter. Kirkbride is in a hospital here with head and chest injuries. His condition was termed serious.
Roy Reece, Phoenix, driver of the truck involved in the accident, told Wilson that a tire had blown out and that flares had been placed around the vehicle while repairs were being made.
Justice of Peace Gordon S. Clark said that an inquest would be conducted.
Because "there are certain details which must be cleared up" the unidentified driver of the car which brought Mr. and Mrs. Kirbride to Prescott was being sought today. The driver, or any person who might have passed the scene of the accident after it occurred, should report to the sheriff's office, Judge Clark. said.
The body was sent to Williams, where funeral arrangements were pending today.
