Anna Travis Holt Wilken, age 87 years of Fairbury, IL formerly of Adair County passed away Saturday, January 25, 2003 at 12:37 p.m. at the Heritage Manor in Colfax, IL.

She was the daughter of the late William N. and Nancy M. Bailey Holt and was the widow of Tim Bryant, who preceded her in death January 13, 1932 and was later married to Bill Wilken who also preceded her in death January 12, 1962.

Mrs. Wilken is survived by two sons, Donald Bryant and Raymond Bryant; three daughters, Nancy Bunting, Dorris Hoffman and Rachel Ellis. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One nephew, Billy Holt of Columbia, KY and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Mrs. Wilken was a member of the Freedom Separate Baptist Church, an avid bingo player, a member of the Chenoa VFW auxilary and enjoyed quilting.

Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Fairbury, IL. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Freedom Cemetery with Bro. John Davidson officiating, with burial to follow.

Local visitation at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
