Deceased was for some years a foreman at Lehr's cigar factory, but, on account of illness, was compelled to resign about the 1st of January. He is survived by a widow, Emma, and two daughters, Mary R., wife of H.C. Meck, and Emma K., wife of C.W. Shade, this city. Deceased was a member of the First Reformed Church; Emblematic Lodge, No. 169, I.O.O.F.; Neversink Lodge, No. 323, Knights of Pythias, and Veteran Castle, No. 481, K.G.E.
