During WWII Robert was to be in "Airborne Anti-tank", but when his feet were badly injured from parachuting (after the 2nd photo shown here taken on liberty in NJ) he was sent to anti-tanks in an infantry regiment. He fought in France and Germany with Patton's Army as Pfc. He died in East Orange Veteran's Hospital, NJ.
