He was born April 8, 1901, in Elkhart and married Sherla M. Watson on March 22, 1920, in Marshall, Mi. She died April 3, 1968 in Inglewood, Ca.
Until he left Elkhart in 1945 Mr. Rush was employed as a superintendant of the foundry at Elkhart Brass Mfg. Co. He was also a member of the Elkhart Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by one son, Graham of Elk Grove Village and one granddaughter; a brother, Tom, of South Bend, and one aunt Mrs. Florence Bickel of Winona Lake.
Friends may call a the Wally-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home after noon Sunday. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home of St. John's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery.
