FRANK CROOKSTON
A member of the Presbyterian church, Irwin, and active in church affairs preceding his illness. Frank Crookston, Tenth street, Irwin, died this morning following a lengthly illness. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Crookston, Irwin, he was born in the Irwin district and was a lifelong resident of the Irwin community. He was a member of the IOOF. Surviving in addition to his wife, Irma, are a son, Jack, recently discharged from the army after service in Italy and the following brothers and sisters: John Crookston, North Irwin; Mrs. Rose Allshouse, Sixth street, Irwin, and Mrs. Alfred Higgins, Keystone. Funeral services will be held at the Snyder chapel, Main street, Irwin, Sunday at 3:30 in charge of the Rev. Wilbur Matchett. Interment will be in Irwin Union cemetery.
