She was born July 26, 1949, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Paul and Alma (Stewart) Wiederholt. They preceded her in death.
On Oct. 17, 1978, she married Harold Enyard Sr., in Topeka, Kan. He survives in Leavenworth. She is also survived by three sons, Michael (Marjorie) Wiederholt of Lansing, Harold (Dana) Enyard Jr., of Leavenworth and William Enyard of Leavenworth; her brother, Paul (Romona) Wiederholt; her sister, Connie Grove; and five grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Haley, Cheyenne and Trey.
Gayle was raised a Catholic. She worked at St. John Hospital for 21 years as the secretary for the Emergency Room. Gayle enjoyed crafts and cooking.
