Bill Fackrell, 90, died November 24, 1995.
Born July 25, 1905 in Woods Cross, Utah to James Norman Fackrell and Mary E. McBride. He spent his early life in American Fork, where he graduated from high school, and later attended the University of Utah. Married Thelma Rose Ash July 22, 1924 in Provo, Utah, solemnized in the SLC Temple, December 21, 1933. Thelma passed away November 14, 1976. Married Viola B. Turner November 11, 1977, she preceded him in death in March of 1993.
He spent over 30 years as Teamsters Union #222, from representative to president, retired 1966. Held the position of high priest in the LDS Church, and served a stake mission.
Bill has two daughters and two sons, Reva D. Powers, LeOra Taylor, Norman A. Fackrell, William L. Fackrell. He is survived by two brothers and one sister, James A. Fackrell, Downey, Calif.; Jay Lyle Fackrell, Thousand Oaks, Calif.; Letha Thomas, Upland, Calif.; He has 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 1995, 12 noon at LDS Winder 9th Ward, 1451 East 4705 South. Friends may call Monday, November 27, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estate Mortuary, 5850 South 9th East, and Tuesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 S.
