William A. Donahue Sr., 83, of Las Vegas, Nevada died Saturday, June 19,1999. He was born Oct. 1, 1915, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and was raised in the coal mining regions of eastern Pennsylvania. In his early years, and throughout the 1960's he worked as an entertainer and had a Country & Western band named "The Tune Mixers". A resident of Las Vegas for four years, he was a member of the Musicians Union.
When he left this world, he left behind two sons and two daughters; William Jr, Joanne, Ken and Marie; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife Esther and his mother Magdelena.
