Mrs. Lynda Gayle Dixon, 61, of Creekwood Road, Douglas, Ga., passed away Friday, February 27, 2004, at home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Dixon, a native of Wayne County, Ga., was born November 22, 1942, the daughter of Marjorie Crews McCall and the late Attis Carroll McCall. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: her husband, Avery W. Dixon of Douglas, Ga.; three sons, Greg Dixon, Brian Dixon, and James Dixon, all of Douglas, G.a; one daughter, Brenda Dixon of North Carolina; mother, Marjorie McCall of Douglas, Ga.; three rothers, Jack McCall of Waycross, Ga., Randy McCall of Saint Marys, Ga., and Larry McCall of Reno, Nv.; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 1, 2004, at 11 a.m., at the Sims Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don Harper officiating. Burial followed at the Enon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Blackshear, Ga.

Active pallbearers were Lewis Jacobs, Scott Dixon, Danny Boyette, Wendell Dixon, and John McCartney.

Sims Funeral Home of Douglas, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
