Adolph D. Abood Rites Are Today
Funeral services for Adolph David Abood, 54, of 106 Lister St., who died Thursday at Schumpert Sanitarium after a long illness, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church.
The Rev. J. I. McEnaney, S. J. pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Pat Kahn, Johnny Ferguson, Freddie Nackley, Eddie Oilwell, William Smith, Henry Karam, James Walker and James Ogle.
A native of Bonne Terre, Mo., Mr. Abood had lived here for the past 50 years. He was a graduate of St. John's School, now Jesuit High School.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. David Korkmas of Tyler, Tex., and Miss Nora Abood of Shreveport.
