---EMMETT FOSTER, who will be better remembered as "Cola," was found death at his home at La Crosse last Friday. He and his brother, James, lived together, neither of whom were married. Their father, H. Bird Foster, was one of the pioneer citizens of the community, formerly a lawyer and surveyor of Adair County.
---He is survived by two brothers, Dr. J.P. Foster and James Foster of La Crosse and one sister, Mrs. John Farmer of Kansas City.
---Funeral services were held at the home of Dr. Foster Sunday afternoon at 2:00, conducted by Rev. Conditt of Kirksville. Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
---Those from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Farmer, Mrs. Garnett Junior and son and Mrs. Hugh C. Boyle, all relatives of Kansas City, and Arlo Farmer of Columbia.
