Dorothy "Dottie" H. Lowe, 77, of Mexico, Missouri, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.

Dottie was born May 28, 1933 in Hermann, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Viola (Baur) Bock.

On December 15, 1973, she was united in marriage to Melvin E. Lowe in Springfield, Illinois. He preceeded her in death on April 5, 2006.

Survivors include four children, Connie (Danny) McCormack of Williamsburg, Missouri, Dennis Thomas of Auxvasse, Missouri, Steve (Amy) Thomas of Fulton, Missouri and Patty (Tom) Tate of Chicago, Illinois, three step-children, Wilma (Gary) Lewis of Jersey, Georgia, Pamela Miller of Macomb, Illinois and Kenneth Lowe of Cleburne, Texas, brother, Howard (Mary) Bock of Fulton, sister, Lavern Burnett of New Florence, Missouri, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceeded in death by three brothers, Marvin Bock, Elmer Bock and Virgil Bock.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:00PM at East Lawn Memorial Park with Reverand Chris Atkinson officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
