Dies; Funeral Monday
Mrs. Ada Priscilla Merry, 79 of route 33 South, Effingham died Friday at her home at 1p.m.
She was born in Jasper county, the daughter of Joseph and Alice Worthey Gass.
She married Cecil N. Merry on Sept. 12, 1916 in Effingham.
Mrs. Merry is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Cecyle Del) Cooley. A son, Merrill Dean, is deceased.
She is also survived by sisters, Mrs. Arca Elkin, Dieterich; Mrs. Dolly Bickers, Dieterich and Mrs. Estella Fehrenbacher of Flora. She had 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Centenary United Methodist Church in Effingham with burial in Oakridge cemetery.
