Obituary:

Livingston Hobson - For about eight years Livingston Hobson, a high esteemed resident of Proton, near Riverview, has been in poor health from aenemia and passed away on Sunday, December 19th, in his 70th year.
He was born in the County of Armagh, Ireland, and came to Canada as a boy of six years with his parents, residing at first near Waterdow.
Later the family moved to Garafraxa township and about 40 years ago Mr. Hobson became a resident of Riverview District. His passing away is mourned by his widow, two sons, Oliver in Brampton, and Wray, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Durking of Bowling Green.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, December 21st to Shelburne cemetery. Rev.Mr. McDonald, of the United Church conducting the services.
The following acted as pallbeareres: Joseph Thompson, Robt, Dunn, Sam Gamble, David Brown, Isaac Jordan and James Doney - Dundalk Herald (obituary sent in by Lynne Gray- Ross)
