Bobby Lee Young, 51, of Sparta, passed away March 18 , 2011, at White County Community Hospital.
Mr. Young was born Jan. 16, 1960, in White County. He was the son of Virgie Pollard Young and the late Vaughn Young.
He was preceded in death by father and his stepson, James Henry Mabe.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mabe, of Sparta; his daughter, Debbie Merriman, of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Dalton Meeks and Abigail Parrish; mother, Virgie Pollard Young, of Sparta; four brothers, Ronnie Young, Glen Young and wife Ruthie, Al Young and wife Jan, and Keith Young, all of Sparta; two sisters, Shirley Brady and husband Joe, of Sparta, Deana Brymer, of Smithville; four stepchildren, Shirleen Key, of Nashville, Christine Golden, of Smithville, Michelle Walker, of Rickman, Jerry Mabe, of Georgia; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., March 21, 2011, at Hensley Baptist Church, with burial in Young Cemetery.
