---Goldie Maxine Brokaw, 63, of LaPlata, Missouri, passed away Wednesday morning (April 24, 1991) at the Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville, Missouri.
---Born September 6, 1927, in Kirksville, she was the daughter of Everett and Alta Findling Stiles. On April 10, 1947, in Huntsville, she married Leonard R. Brokaw, who survives.
---Also surviving are two sons, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
---She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd and one sister in infancy.
---She graduated from Kirksville High School in 1946 and was employed with Hollister Incorporated for twenty-one years until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the La Plata United Methodist Church.
---Funeral services were held on Sunday (April 28, 1991) at the Travis Funeral Chapel in La Plata, with the Rev. Archie Cooper officiating. Music was provided by Kay Rohrbough, organist.
---Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery.
---Pallbearers were Earl Wood, Frank Scott, Mike Carter, Daryl Carter, Donald Sinnock and Clifford McNew.
