David, the beloved son of Genevieve (Pung) and Dr. James Goff, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 20, 2011. He was born on November 13, 1942 in La Porte, Indiana.
David loved his lifelong work in the restaurant industry and enjoyed gambling and following Michigan State athletics.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his daughter, Heather (Ron) Stritzinger of Novi; siblings Dennis (Diane) Goff of Portland, Frank (Kathy) Goff of Grand Junction, CO, Charles (Janie) Goff of Houston, TX, and Mary (Mark) Schueller of Grand Ledge; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland.
The family will receive friends one hour prior the to the service. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity in memory of David.
