Barbara Jane Knott Konrad, 72, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18th, 2011. Born September 5th, 1938 in Daviess County, Jane was the daughter of the late M R and Rosalie Knott; was a graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School; received her Bachelors in Nursing from St Joseph's Infirmary in Louisville, KY; was a dedicated nurse and caregiver; member of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas; and enjoyed cooking; and especially enjoyed being with her family. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles Knott and Michael Knott and two brothers-in-law, Julian Hayden and Bernard Cecil. She is survived by 4 children and 5 grand children, Daughters: Karen (Mark) Godfrey of Bedford, TX and their daughters Melissa, Caroline and Jane Ann, Susan (Nicola) Bianchi of Downers Grove, IL and their daughters Nathalie and Isabelle, Julie (Brett) Dunn of Plano, TX, and son David Konrad of Austin, TX. Sisters: Lucille Hayden of Owensboro, Dorothy (Jim) Calhoun of West Louisville, KY, Mary Ruth Cecil of Owensboro, KY, Helen (Rudy) Woodward of Mobile, AL, Imogene (Joe) Blakeley of Louisville, KY, Carolyn Knott of Knottsville, KY, and Brothers: Paul (Dorothy) Knott of Sorgho, KY, JC Knott (Barbara) of Owensboro, KY and many nieces and nephews. Service will be at 12 Noon, Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Owensboro, KY. Visitation will be after 10:30 A.M. on the day of the service.
