Mr. Frederick Lewis Denver Tucker, age 61 of the Dodson Subdivision in Harriman passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at home surrounded by family. He was a member of the Emory Gap Baptist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendant and choir director. He was a devoted husband and doting papaw, loving all children. He was a loving father, brother and friend to all who knew him. Some of the places he worked were the Windrock Coal Mines, Yellow Freight, the David Joseph Company, Rockwood Iron & Metal, and the Power Paper of Harriman. His testimony was "I am going to a better place." Preceded in death by his parents William & Kelsie Tucker; father & mother in law Paul Ed & Alma Pass; brothers Amos "Bud" Tucker & Tommy Tucker; and sister Wanda Tucker.

Son James Lewis Tucker (Dominique) of Ft. Devens, Mass.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23rd at 11:00 am in the Emory Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Willard Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with Masonic funeral service to follow at the Evans Mortuary
