Glen Ivar Olsen was born in California, the youngest child and only son of Carl G Olsen and Adina Nelson. Carl farmed in Fresno county, California, but by 1930 the family was living in San Francisco where Carl worked as a carpenter. Glen became a dentist and had successful practices in Tracy and Oakland where he was beloved by his patients. He also served his country as a dentist in the U.S. Army for several years. In 1937 he married June Evelyn Evans, daughter of Oscar E Evans and Selma Serafia Salstrand. They had 4 children and many grandchildren. Glen's life was cut short in 1969 when he became a victim of crime, leaving many to mourn his passing.
