Stephen Carroll Holmes passed away at his home at the age of 56. He was born to Richard Leroy Holmes and Pauline Marie Seidel.
He attended schools in Blackfoot and received his GED in the military. He served in the Army, stationed in Germany from 1972-1974.
He married Cherokee Bush, they were later divorced. He then married Lisa Ann Turnbow and they were divorced. He then married Angela Visser and they were later divorced.
Stephen was a parishioner in the Catholic Church.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Black Butte Coal in Rock Springs, WY, New Mont Gold in Elko, NV, Marigold Mining in Valnig, NV.
Stephen enjoyed riding Harley's, working on and building cars and motorcycles, playing and making guitars, hunting, fishing, camping and loved to cook.
He is survived by sons, Travis Holmes of California, Todd Holmes of California and Troy Holmes in Texas; brothers, Mike (Wanda) Holmes of Rock Springs, WY, Rick (Annie) Holmes of Blackfoot, Kenny Holmes of Las Vegas, NV, Kirk Holmes of Blackfoot.
He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Brady and Matty Holmes and a sister, Patty Holmes.
