He was the son of Earl Oscar Ohnmeiss and Doris (Sechler) Ohnmeiss. On a Wednesday afternoon at 4:00PM, he died at his home located at 919 Meade Street in Williamsport. The county coroner, said death was self-inflicted. The city ambulance was summoned, but no medical service was required. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Steven's high school graduation photo is in Williamsport's "La Memoire" yearbook, page 160. You can also see him in a group photo from the 1968 yearbook, page 110. He is standing in the back row, on the far right in Mrs. Omolecki's class. He graduated in 1970 from Williamsport High School. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Surviving are his parents, who he lived with; a brother, [name withheld for Privacy], and his maternal grandfather, George F. Sechler of Williamsport. The funeral was held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the St. Boniface Elementary School, 708 Franklin Street. His age was only 21 years, 9 months 10 days old.
